CASE STUDY FOR 3DEGREES:  RENEWABLE ENERGY
Creative Director
I was brought in by 3 Phases Energy as the Creative Director to lead the rebranding of the three-division company, with locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco (my location) and Portland, OR. Their website needed to be more cohesive and up to date. They did have an excellent tagline, though: Be Proud of Your Power. I hired a web developer and within a couple of months, launched the new site (see below).
Soon after, the managers of the San Francisco division separated from the parent company and re-hired me to lead the new branding effort. I assembled a team of marketing and PR experts and added freelance designers to assist in meeting a tight deadline for relaunch.
After collaborating with the company leadership, the name "3Degrees" was chosen, which I developed along with a colleague. I wrote the tagline, Bringing Climate Solutions Down to Earth. After presenting rounds and rounds of logo designs from the freelancers and myself, the one I developed was chosen.
While the rebranding effort was in full tilt, I also had my "day job" of creating marketing pieces for the clients, now with the new company.
